Assumptions
The goal of the project was to create a visually impressive and artistic introduction that would highlight the prestige of the event and pay tribute to literature. Particular attention was paid to the simulation of particles, which were to add dynamics and magic to the shots.
Technology & Approach
Advanced compositing and special effects software such as Nuke and After Effects were used. Rotoscoping, tracking and keying techniques were used to precisely integrate 3D elements with the footage, ensuring a smooth and realistic blend. Software such as Autodesk Maya and Cinema 4D were used to create fully 3D shots, enabling modeling, texturing, animation and rendering of advanced scenes. Realistic particle simulations such as flying dust, swirling letters and magic sparks were created using Houdini software, known for its advanced special effects tools. Lighting effects, color correction and stylization were added to achieve a cohesive and artistic look of the film. The whole thing was edited and polished with attention to detail to create an unforgettable impression on the audience.
